Bella Poarch

Bella Poarch's biological Filipino parents welcomed her in the Philippines on the 9th of February 1997. Her mother was raised in the slums by her biological parents up to when she was 3 years old. She was then adopted. Her adoptive father, a Philippine-American from a military background, is white and American. She claims she as well as her adopted brother and their mother were abused in their childhoods until they joined the military. After a brief stay within San Francisco, her family moved to Texas to help her father undergo a bypass operation. She says the physical abuse subsided after a few months, but that she continued to endure emotional abuse from her father. In 18 years, she enlisted with an organization called the United States Navy. Poarch launched with her TikTok account in April of 2020 quickly gaining fame with more than 40 million followers in just eight months. Her videos were uploaded in a variety of formats, however her most popular hit was a music video featuring MillieB's cult hit track Soph Aspin Send. The clip that was zoomed, and featured her lip-syncing to the song in rhythmic time with it went all over the internet. In the months after joining TikTok she started an account on YouTube and Twitter account to capitalize on the fame. Her fame grew exponentially in December 2020. The news reported that she drew the attention of two major professional Esports organizations. FaZe Clan (100 Thieves) and 100 Thieves were interested in hiring her to create the content they wanted for their brand names.
