Aspen Ladd's journey in combat sports began when she was 14 years old. Aspen Ladd trained in BJJ, kickboxing, boxing, and wrestling prior to her first appearance as an amateur at WCFC at the age of 18. Ladd was on a stunning three-fight winning streak in Ultimate Reno Combat. In all three, she finished her opponent within the first round. In WCFC Ladd fought, she defeated Leslie Rodriguez with a unanimous decision. Aspen beat Silvia Babaeghian, Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 before taking on Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia beat Aspen with a majority vote. It left a blemish on the record of Ladd's amateur. Ladd rebounded from the loss to beat Roma Pawelek, taking her record to eight-1. Aspen became a professional in the year 2015 and signed with Invicta FC to make her professional debut. Invicta Fc 11 she dominated Ana Carolina Vidal and won the fight in the first round via TKO. Invicta Fc 16 marked her first fight as a Bantamweight. She defeated Amanda Cooper with an armbar in the second round. Aspen's superior wrestling skill was able to take down McGill in the first round, and she was able to end her fight in the third round with a TKO (elbows and punches). She next fought Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18 in the weight class of catchweight(138.1lb) since Ladd was unable to reach the weight limit. Aspen defeated Hoy and defeated her in the second round via TKO. As for her final fight for the promotion, she defeated Sijara Eubanks via unanimous decision at Invicta FC 21. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut in UFC Fight Night 118 against Lina Lansberg. She outclassed Lina, and ground-and - beat her to an TKO victory in the 2nd round. The fight was a unanimous decision.
